With Membership, Dr. L'HommeDieu visits once a year, checks in by video three more times, and every deep dive is included. Membership is for homes in our in-person service area.

Home Safety Solutions helps families who are caring for a parent or loved one, whether they live nearby or out of state. Dr. Russ L'HommeDieu, DPT, ATP, CFPS, assesses the person, their equipment and the home, and family can join by video. After a hospital stay, book Ready for Discharge; otherwise a Home Safety Visit. Both are $250 in the home around Tampa Bay or $175 by video in Florida, New York and Ohio, and both start with a $50 phone consultation.
Caring from a distance
Many of our families live out of state. You can join any assessment by video, receive the report through our secure portal, and speak with Dr. L'HommeDieu directly afterward. If the home is out of state, start with a core assessment by video with a Remote Caregiving deep dive. Your parent stays in charge: they sign a Release Authorization naming you, and we share everything you need.
What if my parent does not want this?
That is common, and it is worth taking seriously. People accept help more readily when it is framed as staying independent, not as losing it. A few things that tend to work:
- Present the visit as a way to stay in the home they love.
- Let them book the Initial Consultation and talk with Dr. L'HommeDieu first.
- Promise that nothing gets changed without their say.
If you are the legal decision maker
If you hold health care power of attorney or are a court-appointed guardian, you can book and sign on your parent's behalf. Bring or upload the document, and we will note your authority on the forms.
