Why only Florida, New York, or Ohio for video? Physical therapy is practiced where the patient is located, so the patient must be in one of those states, where Russ is licensed, during the session. Family members can join from anywhere.

What we look for in Tampa Bay homes
Homes across this area share features that cause trouble for someone using a walker, a wheelchair or a new joint. These are the ones we check on almost every in-person visit.
Sunken living rooms and single steps
One step down into a living room or family room is easy to miss, especially at night or after surgery. We check whether it can take a rail, a ramp or a change in how the room is used.
Lanai sliders
Sliding doors to the lanai often have a raised track and a heavy door. We measure the track height and door width against the person's mobility device and grip strength.
Pool decks
Pool decks can be slick when wet, and the pool edge is a drowning and fall risk for someone with balance or memory changes. We look at surfaces, barriers and the path between the house and the deck.
Hurricane season
