Independence from contractors
Home Safety Solutions accepts no referral fees, commissions, or payments of any kind from contractors, suppliers, or equipment vendors. Contractors do not pay to be listed. Clients contract with and pay contractors directly.
Contractor directory
Contractors marked vetted passed our vetting process at the time of review. Companies marked "Not yet vetted" were found in public directories or on their own websites; we have not checked their licenses, insurance, credentials, or work, and we do not recommend or endorse them. No listing is a guarantee of any work. Always use a written contract, confirm licenses and insurance, and confirm permits.
Readiness ratings
Our ratings and reports describe how ready a home is for a specific person. They are not medical clearance, and they do not replace the advice of the person's physician or care team.
Private pay and Medicare
Our services are private-pay consultative services and are not billed to Medicare or other insurance. Medicare beneficiaries receive a written notice before their first service.
Licensure
Services are delivered by Russ L'HommeDieu, DPT, who holds physical therapist licenses in Florida (PT39370), Ohio (PT020959), and New York (011600).
Home Safety Solutions currently provides services in Florida only. Virtual sessions are available when both the patient and the home are in Florida.

This website and our services are not for emergencies. If someone has fallen and is hurt, or you have an emergency, call 911.
